For Windows the installation distribution file for XBinder is a self-extracting executable file. Installation is done by simply double clicking or opening the file.

For all other platform types, the installation file is a compressed tar archive. The name of the archive will consist of a kit name followed by ".tar.gz". To install XBinder on these platforms, uncompress and unpack it with the "tar" command. For example:
